Small grants for manufacturing
In 2023, the Hills & Coast Business Grant entered its third year, continuing to support manufacturing businesses across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island.
The program offered up to $10,000 in matched funding to help local manufacturers overcome barriers to growth, increase productivity, and invest in their future.
This round attracted 17 applications, with projects valued at more than $570,000. Following a competitive assessment process, four recipients were awarded grants for initiatives that sought to expand production capacity, improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and introduce new products to market.
Together, these projects highlight the diversity and innovation within our region’s manufacturing sector and showcase how small-scale manufacturers can achieve big outcomes with the right support.
