Shape your community and create meaningful impact
Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey that will unlock your leadership potential and inspire positive change in your community?
We’re excited to announce the launch of Inspired Leadership 2024 – an engaging, immersive leadership program developed for aspiring, emerging and established leaders across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
People of all abilities, from culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTQI+ and First Nations communities, and young people under the age of 30 are encouraged to apply.
This program forms part of the 2024-2025 Regional Leadership Development Program (RLDP), generously funded by the Government of South Australia.
Steve Shotton, Director of Regional Development, RDA AHFKI
“The Inspired Leadership program builds a culture of active citizenship and connection to place and local Indigenous culture.
That can’t be delivered in a capital city.”
Inspired Leadership 2024 is not just another leadership program
This six-month motivational experience is designed to cultivate modern leadership skills among a diverse cohort of participants. Building upon the resounding success of our 2023 program, which saw 20 participants thrive and excel, we’re thrilled to invite applications to this year’s program.
Delivered by the co-directors of Newday Leadership, Katrina Webb and Matthew Wright-Simon, along with a team of expert facilitators, Inspired Leadership 2024 will take you on a dynamic exploration of leadership excellence. From the picturesque lands of the Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna, and Peramangk peoples to the bustling energy of our regional communities, each session promises to inspire and challenge you.
CityMag – A Newday for leadership in the regions | 23 NOV 2023
Young South Australian of the Year, Tiahni Adamson, spoke with CityMag about what she values in leadership, and the regional leadership program that ticked all her boxes.
“The Inspired Leadership program has opened my eyes to different ways of viewing leadership. I have done a variety of leadership training before that focuses on ‘traditional’ leadership: someone out front directing. That isn’t my authentic style, but I am still a leader. I didn’t want to be told my style was ‘wrong’ again. The program has been great. Moving from a fundamental understanding of myself through to understanding other people and knowing that I can’t understand everyone else or their experience. This means that as a leader I have to be open and curious and listen to people.”
Kate Henning (brewer, 44)
