Victor Harbor Council has provided 24 local businesses with a share of just over $79,000 through its COVID-19 Business Supports Grants Program.
The program allowed Victor Harbor businesses to apply for up to $5000 of funding to be used to assist with adaptation initiatives, cash flow and business planning. Applications were received across a number of industries including hospitality, health and beauty, transport and logistics, tourism and retail.
Successful projects to receive funding included website development, physical changes to venues and the purchase of equipment to allow for alternative services to be offered.
