Funding for our regions
The State Government has allocated $588.4 million to support new measures across regional South Australia.
Infrastructure development features prominently in the budget, with funding earmarked for road improvement, safety upgrades and public transport to promote better connectivity between regional communities. Additionally, investments in healthcare facilities, housing and community resilience are key regional priorities.
To encourage entrepreneurship and attract investment, the budget introduces measures to support regional businesses, including grants and incentives. These initiatives aim to create job opportunities and boost economic resilience in regional areas, reducing the reliance on metropolitan centres.
