RDA Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island have been recognised by The Australian Government for our outstanding work in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hon Nola Marino MP released a statement last week to commend RDA for engaging with the community, businesses and all levels of government to help identify issues during the crisis and opportunities for the stages of recovery.
We have recently undertaken important key activities in our region to assist communities and businesses to get back on their feet as soon as possible, including:
- Creating a survey on the effects of COVID-19 on businesses and organisations
- Directly assisting businesses with government funding packages and programs
- Working with local governments to identify and prioritise key recovery projects.
- Providing mentoring to businesses and key employers through the recovery of the pandemic
All RDA committees continue to have a vital role in delivering sustainable infrastructure and services to the regions.
