Nominate now: Inspiring South Australian Women’s Award

If you know an amazing woman who has a made a significant contribution to the community, changed lives or left a community legacy, you can pay them the ultimate compliment and nominate them for the 2021 ‘Inspiring South Australian Women Award’.

Their contribution or community services may include – but is not limited to:

  • education
  • health
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander initiatives
  • charitable and voluntary services
  • multicultural initiatives
  • arts and media
  • prevention of violence
  • sport and recreation
  • disability
  • science and medicine
  • business and environment

Nominees must: Be an Australian Citizen, work and reside in South Australia and have made an outstanding contribution to the community.

This award is part of the Australia Day Awards and Honours event and is jointly coordinated by the Australia Day Council of South Australia and the Office for Women.   Two categories provide opportunity for women of all ages – ‘The Inspiring SA Woman Award’’ and the ‘Emerging Leader’s Award’.  A Commendation Award may also be bestowed to encourage the future potential of the nominee.

Nominating someone is easy – it’s simply a matter of heading to the website, completing up to 5 straightforward and easy questions and adding a referee’s name.
