Building Better Regions Fund Guidelines Released Round 5

The Australian Government has released guidelines for round five of the Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF). BBRF includes an Infrastructure Stream and Community Investment Stream. The $1.04 billion BBRF supports the Australian Government’s commitment to:

  • drive economic growth
  • build stronger regional communities into the future.

For Round Five, there is a total of $200 million available, with $100 million dedicated to tourism-related infrastructure projects.

If you are considering applying for Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF), in the first instance you should consider:

  1. Is my project well defined?
  2. Will my project deliver economic and social benefits to my community?
  3. For infrastructure projects, can construction commence within 12 weeks of executing a grant agreement?
  4. Do I have access to capital to fund my share (if applicable) of the project costs?
  5. Do I have the capacity, capability and resources organised to deliver the project?

For a full dissection of your eligibility, follow this link to the “Are you ready to apply?” fact sheet.

If you have an interest in BBRF, Regional Development Australia Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu & Kangaroo Island (RDA AHFKI) can assist you in the following ways:
