The Deputy Prime Minister, The Hon Michael McCormack MP, has announced the closing date for BBRF Round 5 applications will be extended by 1 week from 5 pm AEDT Friday 5 March 2021 to 5pm AEDT Friday 12 March 2021.
The extension has been granted recognising that a number of potential applicants have been disadvantaged in preparing and lodging their applications due the recent impacts of Tropical Cyclone Niran in North Queensland, coupled with technical issues with the Project Mapping Tool (which applicants use to confirm the eligible location of their project).
The extension will allow additional time for applicants who have been disadvantaged by these issues to complete and submit quality applications for funding consideration.
