What we will do:
REGIONAL ECONOMIC ADVICE
- Provide information on our region’s activities and competitive advantages to all levels of government, industry, business and community sectors
- Provide evidence-based advice and advocacy to the Australian Government on critical regional development issues positively and negatively affecting our region
Performance Measures
- Inform federal and state agencies and bodies through forums, workshops, surveys, enquiries, submissions and ongoing engagement with members of parliament
- Produce and maintain a Strategic Regional Plan
- Collaborate with other South Australian RDA’s through RDA SA
- Participate in industry and other regional forums
PROGRAM PROMOTION AND DELIVERY
- Promote and disseminate information on Australian Government and Government of South Australia policies and programs to regional stakeholders including local government, industry, business and community sector
- Assist in the delivery of Australian Government programs, where relevant and/or where requested
Performance Measures
- Active and engaging website, newsletter and social media promoting government programs
- Deliver government programs
- Provision of grant program advice and application supports
