Applications for membership are now being accepted
The Fleurieu Community Co-operative is delighted to announce they have received regulatory approval. As a registered and legal entity, and South Australia’s first paddock-to-place co-operative, they can start formally preparing for the re-opening of the Strathalbyn abattoir.
They are now inviting applications for membership to the Co-operative. Membership is open to those to engage with at least one of the primary activities of the Co-operative, or may supply goods/services to support the primary activities of the Co-operative, at least once per 2 year (consecutive) period. These may include:
- agricultural producers
- restaurants
- butchers
- supermarkets
Application process
The process to apply for membership with the Fleurieu Community Co-operative requires individuals to:
- Complete the application form and return via the email address included on the form
- Pay the application for membership fee of $100
- Purchase a minimum 100 shares in the Co-operative at the issue price of $1.00 p/share
All membership applications are subject to approval from the Board, and only members can participate in investing in the Co-operative. Members are welcome to purchase more than the minimum number of shares.
