A free workshop to increase knowledge of insurance issues for people living in high-risk bushfire areas.

Mount Barker District Council, in conjunction with the Bushfire Community Legal Program, are hosting a workshop for those in living in areas at risk of bushfire. The workshop will cover:

• How to read and understand insurance policies
• What evidence to collect to assist with a claim
• Lodging and negotiating insurance claims
• Making complaints about an insurance claim

Light refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.
