This interactive workshop offers practical skills in Excel for better livestock management, featuring industry experts Michelle Cousins and Denise Rendell.
9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Excel Basics with Michelle Cousins
Participants will learn key Excel skills for livestock management, including downloading and uploading files, managing bucket files, using basic functions, and exploring real-life data examples. There will also be opportunities to ask questions. Morning tea and lunch are included.
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: NLIS Data Upload with Denise Rendell
Denise Rendell will demonstrate how to upload data to the NLIS database, making it easier to keep records accurate and up to date.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Advanced Excel for Decision Making
The day concludes with an advanced session on Excel formulas, guiding participants in using their own records to make informed decisions on the farm.
This workshop is designed to help attendees improve their data management skills, streamline processes, and make better on-farm decisions.
