Applications are now open for South Australia’s flagship music development program, the Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program!
The annual Fellowships provide intensive mentoring and personalised professional development to local musicians and industry entrepreneurs – to help them forge national and global connections and set them up for success.
Over the past five years, the Stigwood team has worked with acts like Tkay Maidza, Bad//Dreems, Timberwolf, Electric Fields, West Thebarton, The Hard Aches, Heaps Good Friends and many, many more.
The program has resulted in recording, management and publishing deals.
The program has two streams:
Mentoring for emerging South Australian music industry entrepreneurs who are working in music management or other areas of artist representation. Areas of focus include identifying strengths, weaknesses and ambitions for the future. Each fellow will receive one-on-one help developing their business for the following 12 months.
Tailored to the needs of the participating artists, mentoring may include songwriting, production, business skills, marketing and public relations, and attendance at conferences and high-level industry meetings. The arrangement is akin to a surrogate record label / management team.
