Strategic Plan 2011 - 2014

INTRODUCTION

RDA AH F and KI is a tripartite organisation involving the State, Commonwealth and Local Governments. These funding partners are formally tied together through:
  • a Funding Agreement between the SA Minister for Regional Development, Adelaide Hills Council, District Council of Mt Barker, Alexandrina Council, City of   Victor Harbor, District Council of Yankalilla and Kangaroo Island Council and the RDA AH F and KI (2010) and
  • an Operational Funding Contract between the Commonwealth Government and the RDA AH F and KI (2010)
RDA AH F and KI acknowledges the generous support of the funding partners and thanks them for their commitment to the communities of the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island.
 
ANNUAL REVIEW
The 2011 – 2014 RDA AH F and KI Strategic Plan has been prepared following a review of the 2010 – 2013 Strategic Plan.
Given that the Strategic Plan is a three year rolling document, core elements of the Plan remain the same including the six Goal Areas.
 
VISION AND MISSION
The RDA AH F and KI VISION for the region is for a well serviced, economically prosperous and environmentally sustainable community of well informed and involved people.
 
The RDA AH F and KI MISSION is to assist in securing a strong and sustainable economic, social and environmental future for the region by:
 
  1. improving community economic development
  2. enhancing community engagement and consultation
  3. informing regional planning
  4. enhancing a whole of Government approach and
  5. enhancing an awareness of Government programs
