Dome SA is a community-based not-for-profit employment and training  organisation that has been offering services to mature age unemployed and disadvantaged people in South Australia since 1981. A Board of Management made up of members oversees the affairs of the Association.

Environment Protection Authority RDA is coordinating the implementation of a Waste Management Strategy for Greenwaste Processing in the Fleurieu Region. This is a joint initiative with the three Councils in the region. The project involves identifying and implementing waste minimization and management initiatives for the region, with funding from the EPA and Councils.
